M O V I N G D A Y

we moved stuff over today! the day started at 8am when we drove to stoke to pick up some furniture from a friends barn then onwards to the house where my old friend kieran met us to help move some stuff in (hero of the hour!) then we started to move clothes, books, everything into our new crib! here's a few photos i snapped throughout the day!

didn't get chance to take a photo cause i was too busy buying hoisin duck rolls for my lunch today (food first!) but i'm wearing a blue & white stripe dress, denim jacket and red chuck taylors. here's a photo for now though :) BE OPTIMISTIC! ITS FRIDAY MUTHATRUCKAZ!

nothing much to say, got made from a recruiter into an administrator yesterday. no more late nights no more weekends! actual 8:30-5:30!

back to work today, dreading it. actually sick to my stomach about going back that's how much i hate the place.

off work again as i can't seem to stop throwing up so my dad took me to do some house stuff with him so i wasn't sat in feeling sorry for myself! this is what i wore, where i went and what i bought.

i was off work today since i spent the majority of last night with my head in the toilet bowl :( to cheer me up we went to the new house and my dad helped me fit my beautiful new table lamp and ceiling light! so because my outfit today was a comfy snuggly jumpsuit i'll do a photo post of mon lumiéres!

another week ended, thank god for that! this week like the four before it have been very challenging and stressful. i'm getting to a point now where i'm being judged on my performance, which is difficult because i'm starting to see that i'm not very good at this job. my main plan of action for the day is get through to 5:30 then go home and spend the night in bed house hunting with my wonderful boyfriend. this is pretty much the only thing that gets me through each week!

nothing to report other than the fact that it's nearly friday and i'm still unhappy at work almost five weeks after starting. not great, but i feel stuck until things with my dad happen, which if previous experience is anything to go on isn't something i should hold my breath about.

today is the first day at my new job that i've worn flats. don't know what it was but i just fancied them and thought they went nicely with this outfit. it's friday tomorrow, thank the heavens! this friday also marks my one month mark at this job, making me bot really a "newbie" anymore, even though there's tons that i don't know! it's safe to say that as soon as i can i'll be heading to pastures new, but of course for the moment i'm doing my "best actress in an identity crisis" bit and nobody at work is any the wiser. should be moved with my dad by the end of the month, and doing stuff for him by that time too. then in may me and dave are going to move too hopefully! big changes, as always.

i've been a bit lazy with my blogging this week because i'm just so so tired :( work is really taking it out of me. i'm working on a challenging role at the minute and staring at my computer screen with no joy is mentally exhausting. didn't even get an outfit photo this morning. this evening has perked me up a bit because dave met me from work and took me for a nandos then to ikea where we priced up house stuff. all getting a bit real now! :D anyway since there's no photo of my outfit here's some of my hair inspiration...the actress rose byrne.

i'm chancing my luck with some leather look black jeans today for work. we work in a "smart casual" office but i've never chanced wearing denim before. i reckon it will be ok though because there are girls who wear leggings and jumpers every day so how bad can black jeans really be?! working late tonight to try and recover from yesterday's awful results where two candidates dropped out and one was a "no" from his interviewer. hopefully this week will go quick i'm really not enjoying work whatsoever and hopefully by the end of this week things will be ready with my dad.

bicycle love

as it's saturday and i'm at dave's all weekend i thought i'd take the opportunity to snap a few photos of my gorgeous vintage bicycle. dave build me this bike from nothing but a bag of old parts this year for my birthday and it literally is the most beautiful thing i think i've ever owned!
