i just wanted to do a quick text post to express how i am feeling right now. it's about 2 weeks until we move into our first home and things have never felt so perfect. we are embarking on our first adventure, first joint address, first bills, first shared bathroom and hopefully the first of many shared beds. we have saved and shopped, saved more and then shopped more. we have a deposit sitting in the bank and we've signed our names on more than one dotted line. this is everything i have wanted since i laid eyes on a beardy gorgeous man drinking rum at the bar. now i have him, my man, my soul mate, choosing plates and talking about our plans for our first christmas together. i never knew i could feel so settled and at peace, so in love with somebody who is just as in love with me. i really am the luckiest girl in the world.
